Harmony Mine in partnership with the Safer South Africa Foundation and Matjhabeng Municipality has embarked on a Youth Crime Prevention Partnership with the aim of building safe, confident and empowered communities. The public sector has been approached to equip and empower the youth of Meloding to be able to contribute positively to the development of their society.

“We hope that the support of the public and other role players will be part of giving hope to these youth as well as giving them the opportunity to become well rounded and confident people,” says Pitso Mereko, provincial co-ordinator of the Safer South Africa Foundation.
