The winners of the U13 and the U15 Matjhabeng Local Football Association (Malfa) champions league were the two Dinonyana clubs in Matjhabeng.
Dinonyana FC U13 and Dinonyana FC U15 emerged as the champions after playing in the finals on Sunday, 13 November.
Malfa presented these league finals at the Letsete Secondary School grounds.
The U13 final featured Dinonyana FC, who went up against Matjhabeng United – Dinonyana FC claimed a 2 – 1 victory.
The U15 final saw Dinonyana FC face off against the Junior Bucs, where Dinonyana FC snatched a 1 – 0 victory from their opponents.
Bougaluv Killers finished third in the U13 division and Napoli FC finished third in the U15 division.
Dinonyana FC U13 will now proceed to represent Matjhabeng at the district finals held in Boshof on Saturday (26/11).
On Saturday (19/11), the Dinonyana FC U15 team represented Welkom at the playoffs in Virginia. The results of these play-offs are: Nykallong Brazil drew with Dinonyana FC (2 – 2); Nyakallong Brazil beat Varsity FC (9 – 2); and Dinonyana FC beat Varsity FC (4 – 0).
Nyakallong Brazil U15 will represent Matjhabeng at the inter-regional playoffs in Boshof, also this Saturday.
