I woke up early. Excitement rushing through my veins. With great anticipation I made my way down to the beach. The few days down at the coast for a bit of rest was coming to a close.
Will I see them again, my thoughts rushed through me. Ouch! In my haste I bumped my toe against a rock. I was climbing up to get a better view.
As if out of nowhere they appeared, silhouetted against the crimson light of the upcoming sun. Adrenaline rushed through my veins as I watched them come closer and closer.
Just then the rider pulled the reins in. The majestic, strong body of the brown-black Arabian stallion lifted up in the air. Once again I was privileged to see this magnificent scene playing off in front of my eyes. The strength, the beauty, the freedom of this animal was tangible. The glory with which it was created by God, the sovereign one, left me in awe.
This reminded me of the heart of God. His creative plan and purpose for humanity, his destiny and designs.
I asked myself the question: How far have we tapped into the heartbeat of God, or are we satisfied with mediocracy? To run with horses a new, fresh demand is placed before us.
I want to challenge your comfort zones and dare you to come out into the deep with me to enjoy this life, a life of abundance.
“To run with horses” we no longer can afford to be wearied out by men or circumstances. We are not looking up at the problem, but we are seated in heavenly places looking at everything from the place of his victory.
Our lives are not based on what will happen, but what is already complete in Him. We can look through the eyes of God.
We are being called to live the ascended life. We must understand that we are not trying to live the Christian life but rather that Christ is living his life through us. That is the call in Paul’s heart when he writes “Christ in you, the hope of glory”.
As I, in awe, was watching the magnitude of this scene, the glorious beauty of the stallion, I knew the heart of God was to bring forth you as a woman to show forth his splendour and glory. )Yvonne O’Neill is of the Kingdom Ministries of Christ.
