An incident of domestic violence led to a woman (41) being stabbed to death with a broken bottle on Sunday, 6 March.
It is alleged that Malefu Joyce Dasheka was stabbed multiple times by her enraged husband at their home in Thabong before he tried to kill himself by slashing his own throat.
Dasheka was certified dead at the scene, and a case of murder has been registered for further investigation.
The suspect is under police guard at a local hospital.
