A woman was brutally hacked to death at a house in Hennenman and the police need the community’s assistance locating the perpetrator.
The victim was attacked on Thursday (17/08) at about 05:20 at a Phomolong, Hennenman, residence.
The suspect is believed to be a foreign national. A bloodied jersey was found in Motseki Village, suspected to belong to the attacker.
The victim bled profusely and was certified dead on arrival at the Bongani Hospital. A case of murder was registered for further investigation.
“The investigation team of Hennenman is appealing to residents to not trample upon crime scenes but inform the police about any clues or the whereabouts of the suspect, and not to take law into their own hands,” says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison for the Lejweleputswa police.
