The month of June is celebrated as National Blood Donor Month, and the South African National Blood Services (SANBS) in Welkom will be celebrating National Blood Donor Day on Wednesday, 14 June, at its Donor Centre in The Strip Building’s parking lot.
They will also have a prize giveaway and host a boerewors braai for donors.
Everyone is encouraged to help spread the word and encourage people to join the SANBS family and save three lives with each donation.
The organisation’s target for the day is 70 donors.
