The police are looking for the relatives of a man who was found dead in Welkom.
The body of an unknown, African man was found in Jan Hofmeyer Road near Intermine Services on 28 January.
The deceased was found with a rope around his neck, fastened to a tree. Nobody has come forward to claim the body as it is still kept at the Welkom Mortuary.
He is estimated to be slightly older than 30 years, about 1,8 m tall, with a medium-sized build. He was found wearing a red t-shirt, green trousers, black underpants, and black flip flops.
