A 55-year-old woman was caught in possession of drugs by the K9 unit in Nyakallong, Allanridge.
On 24 June, members of the Welkom police’s K9 unit were given a tip-off about a woman selling drugs in Nyakallong.
After the suspect’s residence was identified and searched, 30 packets of crystal meth, with an estimated street value of R9 000, were confiscated.
The woman was arrested for drug possession and is expected to appear in the Odendaalsrus Magistrates’ Court on 26 June.
