Our Father created us with the sole purpose to do good. Here are scriptures to confirm this statement from a biblical context.

In Mat 12:35 (GNB) we read that a good person brings good things out of a treasure of good things. The life of Jesus was a living proof of being made in the image of God and doing good wherever he went.

In Act 10:38 (GNB) we read about how God poured out on Jesus of Nazareth, and how he went everywhere, doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, for God was with him.

Furthermore in Eph 2:10 (TPT) we read how we have have become his poetry, as re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us.

“For we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it.”

May we fill our hearts daily with His joy, peace, and love so that these attributes of the Father may become streams of goodness that will flow throughout the Goldfields bringing hope in these times of despair. Here are seven scientific facts of the benefits of doing good:

  • Doing good decreases stress.
  • Doing good increases life-expectancy.
  • Doing good makes us feel better.
  • Doing good makes us happier at work.
  • Doing good promotes mental health.
  • Doing good leads to happiness.
  • Doing good will motivate you to do good again.

We read in Mat 5:13 that you are like salt for the whole human race, and in Mat 5:16 we read that in the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.

Let the daughters and sons of the most High be manifested to share His goodness and love to the people of Goldfields.

He chose us as His body the church to be His ambassador’s hands and feet.
