A foreign national was kidnapped at gunpoint from his business in Odendaalsrus on Sunday (03/07) evening.
The SAPS Hostage Negotiators, National and District Crime Intelligence, Welkom K9 Unit, Odendaalsrus Detective Services, Tactical Response Team and Mine Security were activated, and after a thorough investigation the victim was found unharmed.
A case of kidnapping, business robbery, extortion is being investigated.
