An unknown man died after being hit by a vehicle on the R730, Welkom/Virginia road near Bronville on Sunday (03/07).
Apparently a female driver was travelling on the R730-road on Sunday at about 04:00 when she hit the man.
She stopped immediately to investigate what happened and then phoned an ambulance.
The man was certified dead on the scene.
The victim could be aged between 27 and 30 years old.
He was wearing black sneakers, a black top and maroon pants.
The man has black natural hair cut on the sides with braided knots, he is dark in complexion, and he could be 1,6 metres in height and medium built body.
There was no form of identification and nothing else could assist to identify him. The police is investigating a case of culpable homicide.
