The Gifting Tree at the Goldfields Mall is a festive initiative that is a wonderful way for people to spread some holiday cheer by supporting three charities.
- Each charity has decorated the tree with gift tags, and everyone is invited to take a tag, purchase the corresponding gift, and return it to the mall’s information desk with the tag attached. These gifts will be distributed to those in need. The charities that are being supported this year are: Engo, a non-profit, non-governmental welfare organisation dedicated to providing care and counselling to children, families, the elderly and the disabled throughout the Free State; ) House of Hope, a beacon of hope for children in crisis in the Goldfields community; and) Claws, a non-profit charity organisation that focuses on the well-being of all animals in need.
“We encourage all our tenants and shoppers to participate and make a difference this holiday season,” says Judy Moran, marketing manager at the Goldfields Mall.
