Concerned mother, Welkom:
I would like to mention something that has been bothering me lately, with regards to those men who are looking for jobs at the corner of the Unitas Secondary School in Volks Road.
Some of them have robbed my son of his transport money on two separate occasions in the morning.
I feel some of them are merely pretending to look for employment by sitting there, while their intention is to steal from learners on their way to and from school.
I just wish they could be told to go and sit somewhere else, away from the school, because this is not acceptable. I cannot be worrying about the bullies at school and those old men too.
Is there any way they can be removed there, more especially for the sake of learners?
