The annual Motor, Rotor and Bike Show will this year pay tribute to a fallen hero in the Goldfields’ motor world, Craig Evans.
One of the founder members of this massive annual show, Evans passed away on 21 July.
This year the Craig Evans Memorial Motor, Rotor and Bike show takes place on Saturday (29/07) at the Riebeeckstad High School.
Enthusiasts can look forward to vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, model cars, historic racing cars, helicopters and more.
There will also be a flea market, craft and food stalls, and entertainment for the children including a magician, stilt walkers and jumping castles.
Motoring enthusiasts can also look forward to the rally legends Two Women and a Merc, who are expected to wow visitors with their travelling tales.
Another attraction will be the people of Brandt BRV who will be exhibiting their vehicles, manufactured in Bloemfontein.
- Entry to the motor show costs R30 for adults, while children pay R10. On Tuesday, 1 August, a memorial service for Evans will be held at the Erfdeel Riebeeckstad Gemeente at 14:00.
