The Thabong police have initiated a search after the disappearance of Nonhlanhla Carol Skhakhane (14).
On 14 September 2023, Carol and a family friend, Papa Mwahla, were sent to the mall in Thabong to buy some items. Mwahla alleges that Carol disappeared and he never saw her again.
Carol’s mother, Thulisile Skhakhane, residing in Oppenheimer Park, Thabong, has since opened a missing person’s report at the Thabong Police Station.
The police investigation revealed that Carol was seen on 28 September 2023 with an unknown African male. Skhakhane was also informed that her daughter was seen on 1 November 2023 in the Odendaalsrus CBD, visiting taverns. She is also seemingly active on social media, most notably Facebook.
