The stabbing of a 14-year-old boy has shocked the community of Bultfontein’s Khotha section.
On Tuesday (09/05), the victim was stabbed several times by a 15-year-old. He sustained wounds to his back, hands, chest, and neck. It is believed the motive behind the attack was revenge.
The victim managed to seek help at a nearby house and the Bultfontein police was informed about the incident. He was then admitted to hospital for medical treatment. A case of attempted murder is now being investigated.
Today – Wednesday (10/05) – Sgt. Vuyisile Kabuza of the Bultfontein Visible Policing team managed to follow up on information received, and arrested the suspect in his hideout. A knife, suspected to have been used to commit the crime, was seized.
