A celebration of more than two decades of road running excellence was celebrated when road runners competed in the 21st Mediclinic Vista Women’s Road Race, hosted by Eskom Athletic Club Free State.
A total number of 1 172 participants entered and partook in the 2023 celebration: Teamwork Makes the Dream Work, following the route to success and claiming their gold 21th celebration medal.
The cold and windy weather did not influence the great spirit and excitement of the participants who all ran in honour of Her Family, Her Love and Her Joy. The roadrace supports Cansa and the Charlotte Moll Haven and it endeavours to create an awareness for SANBS.
“What made this year even more special was the support we received throughout, and thank you for the opportunity to host the event in partnership with Vista (media sponsor) and the main sponsor Mediclinic. The club salutes all of our sponsors who helped build the product to the success it is today,” says Hilde du Plessis, Eskom Athletics Club chairperson.
