An up-and-coming, 20-year-old artiste from Meloding, Virginia, has been invited to the International Modelling and Talent Association (IMTA) convention in New York, America, taking place between 5 and 12 July.

In September 2024, Katleho Emmanuel (Emmy) Moleko had the incredible opportunity to perform at the annual International Arts and Talent Showcase (IATS).

“This is a platform designed to give African artists a chance to showcase their talents to international agents and managers.

“It was at this showcase that I received a callback invitation to attend the prestigious IMTA convention,” says Moleko.

An excited Moleko says this is the perfect opportunity to elevate his career.

“I am eager to meet industry professionals, expand my network and, most importantly, showcase my talents on an international stage. I am also aiming to grow in our local and national industry,” says Moleko.

From a young age, this young man has been drawn to the arts.

“I started with singing, and over time, I discovered my love for acting.

“I also began modelling, which has become an important part of my artistic journey,” he says.

Moleko attended and matriculated at the Hoërskool Hentie Cilliers in 2022.

“I am currently a first-year student at the North-West University (NWU).

“My training includes singing and vocal lessons at the Goudveld-Hoërskool, as well as acting classes through my agency and also privately,” Moleko explains.

He is professionally represented by the 33 and Me Talent Agency.

Moleko is a skilled and talented multi-faceted entertainer.

In addition to his passion for acting, singing, and modelling, he has received some recognition for his singing abilities.

“I received certificates and a music trophy from the ATKV for my performance, where my vocal abilities and song choices truly impressed the judges.

“The arts festival, which was directed and judged by the NWU, was a valuable experience I participated in during my matric year and my gap year (2022 and 2023).

“This recognition has further motivated me to keep pushing and refining my skills as I continue my journey in the arts,” says an enthusiastic Moleko.

To be able to attend the IMTA convention in New York will be a dream come true, but attending such an event requires significant financial resources.

Moleko can be contacted on 063-950-1944 or, alternatively, by sending an email to emmymoleko@gmail.com to offer support on his physical, as well as his artistic, journey.
