On 21 June, the Welkom Community Police Forum/Neighbourhood Watch members, together with the police, held a night drive – distributing soup, clothes, and blankets to the less fortunate sleeping on the streets of the city. The community opened up their hearts and donated clothes, blankets, and soup. The outreach managed to feed over 50 people, and the success of the drive underscored the unity and strength of the community. “Through compassion and collaboration, the town showed that together, the CPF/NHW could achieve remarkable things,” said a spokesperson for the group.Photo: Supplied
