A suspect suspected of stealing cleaning supplies from Bongani Hospital, Welkom, was apprehended with a boot full of cleaning detergents and toilet paper.
Members of the Reaction Team of the Crime Combating Unit and the Welkom Flying Squad received information about suspects stealing Bongani hospital property.
They followed up the information and on Wednesday (02/03) they approached a suspicious vehicle parked at a foreign nationals business at the Reahola hostel in Welkom.
There were two suspects the vehicle.
A 34-year-old was arrested. One of the suspects evaded arrest and one managed to flee.
