The suspected rapist of a 32-year-old woman was arrested in Thabong on the same day the crime took place.
On Tuesday, 9 April, the man broke into the home of the woman who lives alone and raped her.
Previously, the suspect had been hiding himself at the dumping site during the day, and in different houses at night.
The 29-year-old man was arrested later the same day after the description given to the police matched the man. The description includes amongst other a tattoo of the number 9 on his forehead. He will appear in the Welkom Magistrate Court on 11 April.
