The rural safety coordinators found stolen copper cable worth R135 000 in Hennenman.
The officers were patrolling in the farming communities around Henneman on 23 October.
They found rolls of suspected stolen copper cables and stashed wires in the long grass.
There were no suspects found near where the cable was stashed. The load of cables was seized.
The police in Hennenman are pleading with anyone who might have information on where the cables might be from and who might be the possible suspects, to contact the Henneman station commander Col Matonkole on 082-564-9545 or the police crime-line 08600 10111 or send an anonymous tipoff on MySapsApp.
