A man who allegedly drugged and then raped his 17-year-old stepdaughter has been arrested.

The incident was brought to light on 7 May when a mother took her daughter to the Department of Social Development, where a social worker was consulted. She told the social worker what had happened at their home in Thabong while her mother was away.

They were referred to the Thabong Police Station to lay a charge of rape.
