The 22nd Mediclinic Welkom Vista Eskom Athletics Club FS Road Race was a big success.

“The club and sponsors say thank you to participants who took part.

“To many, 30 August was a milestone event filled with fun and laughter, with some very serious runners in the mix.

“The great spirit and excitement of starting and finishing the race in honour of her family, love and joy, and supporting the beneficiaries of the event – CANSA and the Charlotte Moll Haven – was evident to all. The race also serves as an awareness campaign for the South African National Blood Service (SANBS).

“What made this year even more special is the support received throughout, the thank you in return and the opportunity to host the event for the 22nd year in partnership with Vista the media sponsor and the main sponsor Mediclinic. A feather in the cap for stakeholders and sponsors of 22 years, who helped build the product of success,” says Hilde du Plessis, chairperson and event organiser – 22 years in Celebration.
