A succesful Pitch and Market Day was presented on 6 December by Sibanye Stilwater at the Ferdi Meyer Hall in Welkom. The exhibition showcased the impact of the Beatrix Alternative Economy Project, where local entrepreneurs have been empowered through digital and non-digital programmes. These initiatives have helped participants turn their ideas into thriving businesses by expanding tech-driven innovations and traditional business models. Nthati Machesa created the African chess set, and Mlamuleli Moyo created the African bluetooth speakers. From the left are Nthati Machesa, Mlamuleli Moyo, Tebello Mokoena and Bandile Motsoeneng.
