Employees from the Communications and Marketing unit of the Central University of Technology (CUT) on the Welkom campus visited the Bana Ba Sechaba shelter home in Allanridge, where they donated clothing and food, as part of youth month celebrations.
They visited the shelter, that was founded by Gloria Margret Gasitsiwe from Soweto, Gauteng, on 16 November 1991, on 22 June.
Gasitsiwe has been raising orphans and abandoned children from all corners of the Free State in this shelter.
CUT would like to invite the community and companies in the Free State and across the country, to assist the shelter by donating food, clothing, toiletries, and improving the infrastructure building , among others.
