Sewage taking over ward

, ,

Residents of Bronville are facing severe sewage problems, particularly spilling from a manhole at the stadium. They urge the municipality for urgent assistance, expressing concerns for children struggling to reach school and declining standards.

Sewerage posing a danger to school children

Concerned resident of a once well-managed ward, Bronville:

Our ward is being overwhelmed by sewage. We plead with the municipality to assist us in this matter. I can start with the entrance of Bronville, when you enter the ward – starting from the stadium where the manhole is spilling raw sewer-

age, going down Waterboer Street all the way to Peterson Street. Apparently, our ward councillor is not interested in addressing matters. Children are struggling to access the school in Waterboer.

We can’t live like this in a ward that used to be of high standards. We urgently ask that our good people are assisted.
