For their 67 minutes of giving back to the community the Thabong Partnership Policing, in conjunction with the community policing forum (CPF), embarked on a cleaning spree at the Mantshebo Primary School.

To commemorate Mandela Day on Monday (18/07), they chose to clean this school, which is situated in Thabong Extension 6, in preparation for the first day of the third term on Tuesday.

“The CPF joined them, and together they cleaned the public school. They did this to ensure that the children’s well-being and hygiene remain of the utmost importance, so that the children can focus on education,” says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison for the Lejweleputswa SAPS.

“As the team was busy cleaning, Sabata Moseu, the ward 12 councillor, arrived to help them.

“He brought some refreshments to show his appreciation towards the police and the CPF members for the good work they were doing.”

“A local traditional girl dance group, with members aged 7 to 13, entertained people with traditional music and dances as the team was wrapping up their cleaning project,” says Thakeng.
