A large group of the Harmony Striders’ running club’s runners took part in the annual Mielie Marathon race which spans over 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km on Saturday, 20 January.
Regard Bester finished the 5 km .
The 10 km course was completed by 21 runners. They are: Puseletso Seitshiro, Tshediso Seitshiro, Pieter Marais, Amelia du Plessis, Rhian Rose, Sheriah Rose, Twane Anderson, Juana Kok, Yvonne Visagie, Cornelius Visagie, JP Eagleton, Frans Kapp, Marius Strydom, Barbara Pretorius, Deon Lodder, Rina Nel, Anchen Jacobs, Luzanne Venter, Johan Pretorius, Lientjie Blom, and Christine Els.
Altogether 16 runners finished the 21.1 km race: Nico Dicks, Estelle Henrico, Bernadette de Costa, Antoinette Bothma, Jason Rothman, Duminque Rothman, Luzelle Stoltz, Refiloe Simango, Benedict Tsenoli, Aaron Lebabo, Vusi Maseko, Lorraine Moloto, Ernst Moloto, Pule Leepo, Justice Shelile, and Teboho Sekhutshoanyane
Finally, the ultra marathon (42,2 km) section of the race was completed by Rudolph Rabie, Meshack Lepele, Muso Molefi, Morné Nel, Erich Cornelissen, Clayton Anderson, Pierre Spurr, Daniel Pienaar, Charl de Coning, Daemane Makhate, Riaaz Harris, and Sentle Mokholela.
