The Anco Ultra Marathon 4-in-1 will take place on Saturday, 24 February, starting and ending at the Welkom swimming pool.
The race comprises The Great 48 km mindset for Comrades qualifying race, the Greater 32 km for endurance, the Greatest 16 km for the love of running, the Fabulous 10 km for fun and speed, and the 5 km for families to enjoy, to be safe, and to be part of the club’s love for running.
Known as the flat and fast and circle route, runners from all over the Free State and surrounding provinces are expected to pound the tar in Welkom.
This will be the sixth year, and the fourth consecutive year, that this Goldfields marathon will be taking place.
