Four learners of the Naudeville Primary School in Welkom took part in the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) Q3 meet in Bloemfontein from 14 to 16 April.
Ava Adendorff, a Gr. 3 learner, obtained a first place in dressage B, a first place in prix caprilli A, a first place in grand caprilli B, a second place in performance riding and a third place in dressage A.
Hanno van Jaarsveld, in Gr. 4, came first in eqitation 50 cm. He also achieved second places in show jumping 50 cm 2 phase, show jumping normal 50 cm, working riding and working hunter 60 cm.
Mia Bester, a Gr. 5 learner, was placed first in equitation 70 cm and show jumping 70 cm normal. She came second in show jumping 2 phase 70 cm and sixth in working hunter 60 cm.
Karlien van Jaarsveld, in Gr. 6, competed in the section horse rider and came first in show jumping 70 cm 2 phase, show jumping normal 70 cm and dressage A. She came second in dressage B and equitation 70 cm, and fourth in working hunter.
