Equestrians of the Primary School Naudeville in Welkom did well during the Free State Showing and Free State Equitation Championship in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 23 November.
Ava Adendorff (Gr. 4) on horse Maluti came first in three categories, second in two, and third in one.
She won the Novice Show Hunter Pony (Graded), Best Turned-out Pony (Training), and 50 cm Showjump 2-phase (Training) events.
Ava came second in the 60 cm Showjump 2-phase (Training) and 50 cm Welcome Test Equitation (Graded) categories.
Both Ava and Maluti are considered the Novice Pony Rider Showing – Reserved Champion title winners.
Ava and her horse Shangar placed third in the Novice Working Riding (Graded) category.
Karlien van Jaarsveld (Gr. 7) is the Equitation Novice 90 cm Champion (Graded), the Junior Novice Working Hunter Champion (Graded), the Junior Novice Working Riding Champion (Graded), and the Junior Novice Showing Champion (Graded). She also came fourth in Showjumping 90 cm (Training).
Hanno van Jaarsveld (Gr. 5) is the Equitation Novice 70 cm Champion (Graded), the Pony Rider Open Working Hunter Champion (Graded), the Pony Rider Open Working Riding Champion (Graded), and the Pony Rider Open Showing Champion (Graded). He also came first in Showjumping 90 cm (Training).
Mia Best (Gr. 6) is the Equitation Intermediate 90 cm Champion (Graded). She came third in Open Working Hunter Pony 80 cm (Graded) and second in Working Riding Pony (Training).
Miah Erasmus (Gr. 1) came third in First Ridden Working Riding Pony (Training), second in First Ridden Utility Pony (Training), first in Ridden Best Turned Out Pony (Training), third in Best Turned Out Pony (Training), second in Beginner Special Test Ponies 30cm (Training), and first in Show Jumping 30 cm-40 cm 2-Phase Speed (Training).
Gabby Anagnostou (Gr. 2) came third in Beginner Special Test Ponies 30 cm (Training) and fourth in Show Jumping 30 cm-40 cm 2-Phase Speed (Training).
