Three learners of the Naudeville Primary School in Welkom participated and excelled in the South African Youth Championships at the Kyalami Equestrian Park from 27 June to 2 July.
They all did very well as part of the Free State team and individually. Karlien van Jaarsveld came first in the 80 cm show jumping championship, Margo Gouws came second in the show hunter category, and Hanno van Jaarsveld was second in the 70 cm show jumping Phase 2 event, first in the 70 cm show jumping accumulator, and second in the 70 cm show jumping championship.
