On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for 18 years.

She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God
(

Luke 13:10-13).

Despite opposition, our Lord Jesus Christ is determined to set the oppressed free.

The crippled woman was bound by a spirit for 18 years. Still our Saviour came and set her free.

Life can be difficult at times. The Covid-19 season has not been an easy one. Daily challenges have tossed us around. As if this is not enough, there is a war that has increased inflation and especially the fuel price.

All these challenges cause us to bend over; prevent us from straightening up.

The good news is that we have a deliverer in Jesus.

He is committed to “straightening” us.

The magical touch of our Lord Jesus Christ enables us to stand up straight, look up and see better opportunities. There is hope, a bright future and abundant blessings.

I know that these tough times have caused some God-fearing men and women of God to backslide.

Our Father in heaven loves you unconditionally. Like the prodigal son’s father, he is waiting patiently for you to come back.

Restoration of everything you lost and even more is waiting for you to come back home.

He is ready to embrace you and place a ring of ownership on your finger. Jesus Christ will take off your sign of slavery to sin and prepare a feast for you.

Your coming back is considered gain.

I pray that you receive your restoration promptly.
