Residents of Bedelia and Reahola Village were burning tyres in Stateway on Tuesday night (31/05) in protest of not having electricity since Friday.
On the same night power was restored in Lake View, Reahola Village and other sections of Bedelia.
On Wednesday, the Matjhabeng municipality managed to fix one faulty cable.
Currently the load is too much for the system and more than ten roads are still down.
The last two breakers would have been restored later on Wednesday.
The municipality is also battling with cable theft and as a result joined lines have been weakened.
The municipality said it has a contingency plan to deal with sabotage and cable theft.
