What happened to Matjhabeng’s moral obligation and responsibility to use our rates to keep our city clean?
The municipality must take my monthly contribution of R106 and pay it to the new community forum.
How can I, as a pensioner, be expected to pay an extra R250 to the forum and still be obligated to pay R106 to the municipality for its non-service?
I have been cleaning the open veld next to my house for many years, but have never been paid for it.
Littering in the streets needs to stop, and the municipality needs to empty the bins. Rubbish piles up, only to get blown around.
Garbage bags, left indefinitely, get ripped open, spreading refuse all over the street.
Matjhabeng needs to schedule collection days so that garbage is not left out for weeks on end before a truck comes around.
