More than 1 002 athletes took part in the different races that formed part of the 20th annual Mediclinic Welkom Vista Eskom Athletic Club FS Women’s Race.
Of these, 219 took part in the 1,5 km children’s and masters races. In the 5 km women’s big walk and fun run there were 569 participants, and in the open 10 km women and men’s race there were 214 participants.

Prize winners for the different competitions:
- R500 Overall winner for the sport clubs or business with the most entries in the road race was won by Battery Centre (the prize sponsored bywas Rina de Jonge offrom OOBA). The prize money was donated to a charity of their choice.)
