Vuka Darkie Youth Development, a non-profit organisation, has established a vegetable planting project in Ward 16. The aim of the project is to create an awareness of food security, job creation and poverty alleviation. The organisation wants to issue food parcels to the needy and transfer agricultural skills to promote independent livelihoods. “For the organisation to be sustainable, we request donations of seeds, tools and other goods and items that will help us to accomplish this,” says Teboho Majoro, CEO of the group.
