Thabong’s Partnership Policing members took services to the shoppers and residents of Thabong at the Boitumelo Mall by utilizing the mobile community service centre.

On 28 October from 09:00, shoppers and residents were served with certifications and affidavits. The public were also informed about how to report criminal acts.

“Members of Thabong Community Policing Forum were part of this excellent initiative, The awareness campaign was organized to address sexual offences, domestic violence, mob justice, gender based violence and femicide, theft and shoplifing,” says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa SAPS.

“The District Commissioner of Lejweleputswa, Maj Gen Lerato Molale says that it is our mandate to protect and serve. We will continue taking our services to residents of Thabong, to showcase how we care,” says Thakeng.
