The roadblock aimed to search for illegal firearms and stolen goods, whilst ensuring vehicle roadworthiness and guaranteeing traveller safety on the roads. Officers conducted thorough inspections of vehicles passing through the checkpoint during the operation.

The operation represents part of a broader strategy by law enforcement agencies to maintain security and safety standards on major routes. Such roadblocks serve as both deterrent measures against criminal activity and proactive steps to ensure compliance with road traffic regulations. The initiative underscores the commitment of local authorities to creating safer travelling conditions for motorists whilst simultaneously combating crime through strategic law enforcement operations.
