To
celebrate 67 Minutes for Mandela Day, members of the Meloding Social Crime
Prevention and the ward councillor, Lerato Mohapi, identified the elderly, and
also a disabled child, in each of the four sectors in this township.
On Mandela Day (18/07) they visited
Kamohelo Molikeng (9), living with disabilities, and pampered her with food and
gave her disposable nappies.
They also visited elderly people,
including Mpoetsi Matobako, Malebohang Molikeng and Mathabo Ncambe who were
given blankets and food parcels.
Crime prevention tips were also
given to ensure that they are and feel safe, says Capt. Stephen Thakeng,
Lejweleputswa media liaison officer.
