An Odendaalsrus teenager Kelebogile Joy Majoro went missing on her way to visit her mother.
Majoro (16) was last seen on Sunday, 7 July, at about 10:00 in Kutloanong.
Her grandmother Motlalentoa Alina Botipe said that her granddaughter told her that she was going to visit her mother in Block 1 Section in Kutloanong.
“However, at about 13:00 when she phoned Kelebogile’s mother to make a follow up regarding her whereabouts, the mother informed her that her granddaughter never arrived there,” says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa police.
“Several calls where made to the girl’s cellphone, but with no success. She was nowhere to be found, and not even her friends or relatives know of her whereabouts”, says Thakeng.
She was last seen wearing a black full dress, white hoodie, white boots slippers and a brown doek. She is light in complexion and medium build. Majoro is a Gr. 11 learner.
The incident was reported and a missing persons file was registered for investigation.
