The Thabong police are urgently looking for information surrounding the disappearance of an 18-year-old girl.

On 27 July, the girl, Relebohile Rebecca Mokati, was reported missing after she failed to return home after allegedly visiting a traditional healer.

Relebohile’s mother, Nnana Lizzy, went to the Thabong Police Station to report that her daughter was not at home when she returned from attending a funeral on that day. The girl was there when Lizzy had left.

“When she returned home at 18:15, Lizzy found that her daughter was not there. She asked her boyfriend about Relebohile’s whereabouts, and he explained that Relebohile had told him she was going to see her traditional healer,” says Capt. Stephen Thakeng, media liaison officer for the Lejweleputswa police.

Relebohile left home wearing a pink dress with white sneakers. She is dark in complexion and well-built. A case of missing persons has been registered for investigation.

Anyone with information can contact members of the Thabong Police Station on 082-848-8120, or the Crime Stop number 08600-10111.
