The Virginia police arrested a man (40) for being in possession of explosives.
On Friday (15/07) at about 18:20 the police received intelligence led information about a man carrying explosives concealed in a bag.
He was walking in Bullion Street in Virginia.
The man was searched and the police found shockwave assemblies, blasting cartridges and a shockwave starter in the bag. The suspect is a miner at one of the local mines and was arrested for possession of explosives.
He will appear in the Virginia Magistrate’s Court this week.
