On 15 March, while the Welkom K9 unit was on patrol in Ventersburg, they noticed a bus with a foreign registration number at the truck stop on the N1.
The police approached the passengers and requested them to present documents proving they were legally in South Africa.
Six women and nine men could not and were arrested for violating the immigration law.
Another man was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice and Crimen Injuria.
