Our sewerage system is a mess (problem) which is not being attended to. We have two sewerage plants that are not being attended to, hence making our lives in this ward a living nightmare.
Our community stadium has three manholes that are overflowing. The worst part of this is that these manholes are situated near the school that our children attend. These manholes are situated at Waterboer Street and the smell coming of it its unbearable.
We simply ask that the person who is in charge of this department to please avail himself and see to it this matter is solved.
I went there myself to their offices and he was not there.
I humbly ask that he sees that this matter gets his urgent attention. Our residents have given up that anything will be done.
Even if we go to the municipal office in our ward, they do not have a direct line to communicate with this department. I am asking that the message gets to the relevant department, and it gets attended to.
