A Welkom squash player, Tristan Davies (17), has been selected for the SA Schools Squash Tour to Malaysia and Singapore in December.

He started playing squash when he was 8 years old.
Tristan plays for Rovers Squash club and is a Gr. 11 learner at St Dominics High School.
He trains daily for four to five hours doing various squash drills and strength training and cardio exercises.
He attended the SA schools closed tournament in Johannesburg in April and the U19 interprovincial tournament in Stellenbosch in June. He is currently ranked number 2 in the Free State for U19 age group.
