When there is so much uncertainty around us it is easy to become scared, negative and hopeless. That is where the power of perseverance is vital.
Have a conversation with any person who has done great things and has overcome in almost impossible circumstances and you will find one common trait, perseverance.
The science has proven it and the evidence is there in countless lives. You do not have to be smart, good looking or have money.
You just need to persevere to succeed in life.
Science and the truth of God’s principles in his Word agree as we see in Proverbs 4:25-26 where Solomon advises us, “Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions. Watch where you’re going. Stick to the path of truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you. Do not allow yourself to be sidetracked for even a moment or take the detour that leads to darkness.”
What great and inspiring words. We will fail and there will always be challenging circumstances, but it is not permanent. Keep your eyes fixed forward and keep going. Do not get tired in doing the right thing for at the right time you will reap a great reward. All the hard work and tears you sowed will bring great joy.
Most importantly, just know that you are not alone. The One who has called us to a glorious life has persevered on our behalf to show us what is possible and promises that He will never leave nor forsake us. He is with us every step of the way. Jesus never said a great life would be easy, but He did say that all things are possible to those who believe.
