The Welkom cancer community centre invites the community to join them for a bikers biltong and beer tasting event, hosted alongside Barbezul, on 26 September in the Barbazul parking area.
The cancer community centre is an established non-profit organisation (NPO) that supports cancer-stricken patients and their families, as well as those affected by the illness in other ways.
The organisation purchases nappies, wheelchairs and more to support and assist patients that do not have the finances to buy or even rent these items. Raising awareness for cancer screening and detection is a big aim for the organisation.
Tickets for the event will sell for R150. There will be an artist performing and various stalls that will donate 10% of their sales for the day.
