The Odendaalsrus police have arrested a 37-year-old male after two males aged 23 and 24 were found fatally shot in Odendaalsrus.
On Sunday, 13 July the police were summoned to a shooting incident in Odendaalsrus. Upon arrival at the scene, they found two African males lying motionless with gunshot wounds to their chests.
“It is alleged that an argument ensued between the two victims and the suspect before the shooting. The two males aged 23 and 24 were certified dead on the scene,” says Sgt. Palesa Thabana, spokesperson for the Lejweleputswa SAPS.
She says the motive for the murders will form part of police investigations. The male suspect was subsequently arrested for murder.
